Weird: Jumbo Squids Found in California Beaches

Thousands of jumbo squids were seen on the shores of many beaches in California in the summer of 2002. They were known to have come from Northern Peru. Their weight is 2 to 2.5 pounds and the length of their mantle is 16 to 24 inches.
