Surgeons in Budapest, Hungary were shocked as they removed the coconut-sized kidney stone of a man. This is really far from any normal operation wherein most doctors usually see smaller-sized kidney stones.

Sandor Sarkadi never knew he had a gigantic kidney stone inside his stomach. The stone measured 17 centimeter in diameter and weighed 2.45 pounds.

Doctors explained that smaller stones just go out of the body by themselves within hours or days, and suggested that drinking more fluids helps speed up the process.

OMG I can not imagine the pain this poor man must have been in. Kidney stones are said to be more painful than a woman in labor,

I'll have to send this to my brother and see what he thinks. He pees 'sand' now and then. :)
