Susan Boyle Loses on Britain's Got Talent 2009 to Diversity

It was Diversity's night! The all-male street dancers received the highest votes on Britain's Got Talent 2009 finale. Susan Boyle, 48, emerged as the runner-up of the dance group while Julian Smith, the saxophonist, came in third.

In the finals, Susan Boyle, the instant singing sensation, gave a heartfelt rendition of her audition piece, "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables musical. Besides, during the first semi-final, Boyle sang "Memory" from Cats musical where she got the highest number of public votes. Her runner-up that time was Diversity.

As the street dancers were declared the show's winner on May 30, Boyle then exclaimed, "The best people won."
